What to do on a rainy Friday…

  1. Meet Leilani at the incredible Yamagami Nursery in Cupertino.  Mare has a great green thumb and this is her favorite nursery.  Our spring science curriculum revolves around planting and tending a garden.  Georgia had a list of seeds we wanted to grow and she took charge of finding them
  2. Aunt Barbara braved a rainy day (really.  it rained enough to count in South La.  Normally, what they call a rainy day around here, we’d say ‘well, it thought about raining and drizzled a little but that was it’) to meet us at the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum.  Wow.  Linen thousands of years old.  Human mummies as well as animal companions for them.  Georgia was so excited she was dancing in place.  She’s now a junior archeologist and when she’s completed all of her tasks, she can spend the night at the museum!
